Welcome to the online home of Salvo (Horsham) Rifle Club - We are based at The Holbrook Club, North Heath Lane, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 5PJ.

SALVO has a healthy and growing membership including ladies, gents and juniors who participate regularly in our main disciplines: Prone rifle and Lightweight Sporting Rifle. Full Bore shooting is increasingly popular and now possible in our range in some calibres, as well as at Bisley ranges in Surrey.

As hobbies go, shooting at Salvo is relatively inexpensive. There is a small annual fee payable in January.

The rest of our costs are recovered via the ammunition we sell to members on site.

Ammunition is available on club nights to members and trainees at very reasonable prices.

We welcome new members aged 14 and above (minors need to be accompanied), and will make our best efforts to accommodate shooters of all physical abilities.

PLEASE CLICK ON THE NAVIGATION BUTTONS ABOVE TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT US.

Shooting sport for the disabled is administered by The Disabled Shooting Project. If you want to visit their website a new tab will be opened in your browser, and their site accessed, by clicking here.

Our News for Summer…

After all the hard work to convert our .22 range to allow the shooting of pistol-calibre Sporting Rifles at 20 yards, and similar Pistols at 10 yards we have been enjoying the new facilities!

All existing facilities have been retained to enable county and national competitions to be shot. Airgun targets can now be used, including moving ones. Turning targets were also added.

All the work (hard labour!) was done by the membership.

Our generous sponsors have enabled us to increase our facilities, appeal to a wider range of people and interests, enable our range for more disciplines, improve disabled access and increase the number of people enjoying our sport. Our heartfelt thanks goes to them all.
