Welcome to the online home of Salvo (Horsham) Rifle Club - We are based at The Holbrook Club, North Heath Lane, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 5PJ.

SALVO has a healthy and growing membership including ladies, gents and juniors who participate regularly in our main disciplines: Prone rifle and Lightweight Sporting Rifle. Full Bore shooting is increasingly popular and possible in our range in some calibres, as well as at Bisley ranges in Surrey.

As hobbies go, shooting at Salvo is relatively inexpensive. There is a small annual fee payable in January. Membership of The Holbrook Club is mandatory at the appropriate rate. The rest of our costs are recovered via the ammunition we sell to members on site.

Ammunition is available on club nights to members and trainees at very reasonable prices.

We welcome new members aged 14 and above (minors need to be accompanied), and will make our best efforts to accommodate shooters of all physical abilities.

Shooting sport for the disabled is administered by The Disabled Shooting Project. If you want to visit their website a new tab will be opened in your browser, and their site accessed, by clicking here.

We’re settling into our Winter  patterns of shooting and welcoming new members…

Our generous sponsors have enabled us to increase our facilities, appeal to a wider range of people and interests, enable our range for more disciplines, improve disabled access and increase the number of people enjoying our sport. Our heartfelt thanks goes to them all.

A working party has just finished maintenance and refinishing of the ‘business’ end of the range, where the targets are.

All existing facilities have been retained to enable county and national competitions to be shot. Airgun targets can also be used, including moving ones.
